Spotlight – Resident Judy Nardella

Burnside Village

Judy started bowling at 31 years of age, she is now 70.
Judy started bowling at Rosamond Bowling Club and now bowls at the Deer Park Bowling Club.

A keen sportsperson Judy has been a regular in the Victorian state squad for 14 years – winning numerous national titles. She won the Australian indoor lawn bowls title 2007 and again in 2007 she won a world title. Bowling is deeply entrenched in across Judy’s family and Judy is still active in playing, coaching, selection local pennant.

Judy and her husband Tony have lived happily at Burnside village for 15 years and Judy informally helps newcomers to the bowling green whilst Tony is the village snooker champion. The things they like most about living at Burnside Village are the activities and entertainment, the security and lifestyle, and how they have made many good friends.
